Biblical
principles and character development combined with traditional, yet academically
accelerated studies in Bible, Reading/Literature, Language Arts, Writing,
History, Economics, Geography, Government, Mathematics, Science, Spanish,
Physical Education and Computer Literacy form the foundation of the
curriculum at WCS. The basic curriculum is enhanced with special classes in
Art, Music, and Electives (grades 6 - 8). Many ACSI activities and school
field trips support learning both in and out of the classroom. Preschool The Preschool program
serves students who are three and four years old. For more particular information about each
class, please click on the desired link below. Elementary School The Elementary School serves grades K-5. The
curriculum includes all subject areas required by the state of The
reading program is phonics-based where comprehensive skills are taught
through a reading series. The mathematics program stresses reasoning
and computation skills. It uses manipulative and supplemental materials to
enhance the understanding of all areas of mathematics. The
Bible is the foundation textbook for the overall program. Weekly chapel
services and classroom Bible instruction are an integral part of the academic

Middle
School The
Middle School program serves grades 6 through 8. It is designed to
reflect an awareness that each child is in a unique period of developmental
growth. Emphasis is placed on student mastery of academic fundamentals,
spiritual development, and the social adjustment of each individual. The
general course of study includes math, science, Bible, language arts, social
studies, and physical education. Some of the elective programs
available are: Spanish, band, art, computer science, drama, yearbook, student
government, and home economics. Middle School students are also eligible to
participate in competitive sports including volleyball, basketball, track,
and soccer. Middle
School students participate in their own chapel program, student council
activities, and social events. Each
Middle School student also has an assigned counselor which meets with the
student on a regular basis to assist the student with developing
interpersonal relationships among students and staff and achieving academic
